Thanks Tajamul for the referral and invite! I have a blog in which every week a new writer share their journeys, their successes, joy and heartache on this path we have all chosen in life. I will be sharing them here.

Each year in October the Writers Journey Blog produces an Anthology for the Anniversary and only featured writers of the Blog can submit. Come and join us. Get in on the fun!

MY BIO:
Elaine Marie Carnegie-Padgett is a Texas girl, born and bred! A paralegal and private investigator turned journalist and author. She wrote for a local Newspaper in the Texas Hill Country for ten years, and during that time produced a Regional Visitors Guide. Her historical articles have been published in Luxury and Lifestyle Magazines, Visitors Guides and online history venues. Her non-fiction, historical, and fiction works appear in online and print venues and have been used in the Texas School System to teach middle-grade children about the dangers of the internet. In the Texas Legislature to check the intrusive powers of POA’s in the State of Texas, and on Discovery ID on Human Trafficking and its consequences on a human life. She has worked with local law enforcement, the FBI, and Texas Rangers, and those experiences are reflected in many of her stories. In the last two years she has published eighteen short stories in various anthologies, and poetry available on Amazon and her website, https://www.authorelainemarie.com. She is currently querying the Path of Totality and writing a new book about a paranormal sensitive behavioral analyst. Elaine makes her home in the lush East Texas Piney Woods amid her grown children and grandchildren.

  LEAVING MY LEGACY BEHIND by Eva Marie Ann Cagley When asked to write up my strategy to marketing I had to think about it. I have five poetry books out now and have had little sales on any of them. I have used FaceBook and Linkedin. Word of mouth to family and friends. Most my sales have been from friends and family. However, that is not how I measure my success. My success as a writer comes from my online publications. I look at the engagement and views. I have had what I call success with it in that form. I am an avid reader of poets and writers and spend a great deal of time reading and commenting. From this method I have gained supporters for my writing. I look forward to their engagement.
